Last night we all went to see the Foo Fighters....whoooo hooooo. They were fan-rockin-tastic. We were right next to the walkway so had a great view. I will post some photo's we took with our phone camera's when I get them sorted. Hope they turned out allright. hee hee.....oh, It was great fun.

Robbed.

Saturday night someone broke into our house and took two of my handbags. One of which was my Juicy Couture bag that I got in San Fransisco along with my wallet which had all my cards inside etc...not to mention the money. My N95 mobile phone with heaps of phone no's and pictures etc etc and there's stuff in those bags that I cant even remember....I carry lots of stuff around.......it makes you feel like crap........not happy Jan!!!!!!!

Geez it is not a good day to be out on the road today. I was doing a bit of running around this morning and twice, different people pulled in front of me and nearly hit me. Just as well I saw them in time.....and thats saying something!! as I was listening to Muse and was very involved in the songs...if you know what I mean. Also at a set of lights a plain policecar all of a sudden decided to do a u turn right in front of me....they put on their siren really loud but I thought it was part of the song.....heehee.....I was'nt in their way though.....crikey!

Ya Dreamin'

This morning I awoke with a surprise because I had a dream with John Simm in it. It was a gentle fun kind of dream. The kind that linger and make you feel good for a time . I don't usually dream about actors and stuff....well not very often anyway but it got me thinking about other dreams I've had with well known people in them. Years ago....about the time of "Legends of the Fall" I had a dream about Brad Pitt. I've dreamt about Nicholas Cage, David Bowie....I had a funny one with Al Pacino....he was my good buddy and we were hanging around in the town I grew up in....I never could work that one out. I had a doozy after Robbie William's concert...it was really nice and friendly and the good feelings lasted a couple of days....that is until he said derrogatory things about Perth people in the press and that put an end to that. I've probably had others but they could'nt have been too memorable could they? I wonder if you can set yourself up to dream about a particular person?????...HMMMMMM?

Essential Day Spa.

I received the products I ordered from Essential Day Spa today. Lovely...and they threw in a lot of freebies. Nice! Its a lot easier to buy things online sometimes....I'm impressed.

Proof.

I took this photo today to prove that I was in my studio. I did'nt get much painting done though 'cos its toooooooo hot!!!!!!! and I took this after I had given up trying to paint in a sauna and gotten dressed to go to the shops.......I usually wear daggier clothes when I'm painting and usually no makeup. Scarey eh?

Bamboo Fun.

For a while now my dvd drive just was'nt recognising cd's. I managed without it quite well ...loading files onto my laptop and transfering them wirelessly. That was until I bought myself a new pen tablet .....a Wacom Bamboo Fun and had to install the software from the CD supplied. There is nothing wrong with the tablet I already have, but , I was out christmas shopping and I saw this lovely smooth black pad and could'nt resist...hopeless! Yesterday Marc replaced my old dvd drive with a brand spanking new one and now I'm ready to go......mmmmm everythings black now........nice.

Sweeney Todd.

Megan and I went to see Sweeney Todd at the cinema today. It was great. We always like to see Tim Burton movies and it was lovely to see Johnny Depp, Helena Bonham Carter, Alan Rickman and Timothy Spall...some of my favourites. It's funny the things that run through your mind when you are watching a film. During the scenes where Todd reunites with his razors I kept thinking of Edward Scissorhands and there was a second where I could've sworn Cap'n Jack Sparrow extended his arm and during Mrs Lovetts dream for a life with Todd I kept thinking of Beetlejuice. I could'nt stop looking at Judge Turpins filthy nails and the sound effects when the bodies hit the cellar floor made both Megan and I queezy. Very graphic. Very atmospheric. Very Tim Burton.....deliciously dark...yum.

Brian bought me a Wii for christmas....its lovely....and Daniel got me Zelda Twilight Princess to play.....I have'nt played Zelda since the first version on Nintendo....woo hoo...that was a long time ago. I don't know when I'm going to find the time to play it though.

Exhausted!

I have'nt posted for a while...I have been running all over the place...I have'nt been 100% well and have just been exhausted. Daniel and I went to see Muse when they were here and they were fantastic. I have got everyone Foo Fighter tickets for Xmas and I am looking forward to seeing them in the New Year. I have been participating in Annie's crochet workshops and I am learning a lot as well as having a nice time with the group. I'll take a photo of the earphone holder I made and post it next time....I call it "The Scrotum"....heh heh.

We're Baaack!

Brian and I arrived back on Australian soil last Thursday. We went to California. We stayed with our friends...Anni, Ron & Ashley. We had a great time. We visited Disneyland...just to get stuff for Lachlan...of course. We travelled up the coast with Ron to SanFrancisco and we went to Megan and Savi's wedding...which was gorgeous...in Santa Cruz. I will tell you more soon...Im still a bit out of wack.

Last week I made it to the movies and saw "Stardust". I thought it was fun. Billy the goats antics as the innkeeper particularly tickled my funnybone and seeing Robert DeNiro in a petticoat is worth the price of the ticket alone....hee hee.
